I thought I'd try something new with my blog: spotlighting talented writers and artists who capture my interest. This week's spotlight - and the very first - is a man I only heard of today, through a friend's Facebook page (as you do).
Here's what I first saw:
Not only is it a great poem, but he reads it so well. And the images in the video go with it perfectly. I was very impressed. Then I was pointed to his poetry site, which is not only filled with thought-provoking poetry, like this:
But also has a very neat feature. If you go to his site >HERE< and click on the top left corner where it says 'A Poem Just for You' it will take you to a page where you can answer several questions and be given a poem that suits your mood. How fun is that? The poems I looked at all had audio features that you could click and listen to him read, too.

Good stuff. Helps to have that great voice when you're reading a poem too. :)
@LG exactly, I think that's part of what impressed me so much in the first place, his voice is just right for reading poetry.
